CONFIRMED: Marco Kurz appointed new Coach

After a seemingly endless search for a new gaffer, former 1860 Munich coach Marco Kurz was appointed FCK-Coach today (18. June 2009). "I am really looking forward to the task at Kaiserslautern, which I take on with conviction. I am expecting a football-crazy environment with great fans and an impressive stadium. I would like to be a part of a succesful future.", Kurz commented after he had signed a 2-year-contract.



Kurz has coached the First and Reserve teams of 1860 Munich as well as SC Pfullendorf.

Now, it's confirmed: Marco Kurz is the new head coach of the Red Devils.

He signed a 2 year contract. He is 40 years old and worked as a head coach for SC Pfullendorf and 1860 Munich (March 2007 - February 2009)
