I was in Iceland last October with my school. Þingvellir, The Blue Lagoon and Gullfoss was really impressing - took thousands of pictures! We also visited a school in Reykjavík, "Retterholtskolí" or something like that. The weather was... Well, pretty grey. Before we went from Denmark to Iceland, everyone told us to buy as much in Denmark as possible, because o the prices in Iceland - but as we came there, almost EVERYTHING was cheaper than in Denmark! Especially Coca Cola

Probably drank 10 liter in that week

Music is also cheaper in Iceland than Denmark - we bought a lot of CD's for almost no money (etwa 5 Euro pro stück - ziemlich neue Alben, sogar).



All in all, DO NOT go to Iceland because of the weather - go there if you like nature and the ancient Norse mythology.





PS: My classmates were happy that so many Icelandic people speak more or less danish

hmmm cheap in Iceland i dont now

But if some of you gona stay here this summer, let me now and i will glad help you to find hotel and i drive you from the airport, its 1 hour from the airport to the city, so you dont have to pay for bus

And you gona see icelandic football, allways fun here on football games.
