Adam Nemec joins the Red Devils



The Slovakian forward Adam Nemec, who was most recently playing for the Belgian first division club KRC Genk, will join 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the second division club. The parties agreed to keep the terms of the deal confidential.



Nemec has made 29 appearances in the Bundesliga second division for FC Erzgebirge Aue and scored ten goals. In 2007, Nemec has won the Slovakian championship title with MSK Zilina. He has played 74 times for the Slovakian club and scored 25 goals. Nemec has been capped once for Slovakia. He has made 21 appearances for KRC Genk and scored four goals.



"Adam Nemec has demonstrated parts of his skills during the training sessions and the friendly games with the Red Devils. He keeps the ball under control, is good in the air and he has an eye for goal. He will strengthen the attack,” FCK head coach Marco Kurz comments on the new signing.
