Mario Diehl with the redemption

Soccer: 1:0-lucky victory of FCK-Juniors at the derby in Karlsruhe

KARLSRUHE (fam). Not for weak nerves: With one player less FCK defeated the clock at the 1:0 (1:0)-succeed against Karlsruher SC. Thereby they made the first 3 points at the Junior-Bundesliga.

Before the match coach Steven Dooley got a bad news; the talented forward Vllaznim Dautay wasn't able to play because of a flu. He was replaced by Mario Diehl, who started playing just like he ended the last match: He missed the goal alone in front of the goalie (7.). But he did better the next time. He took advantage of a mistake by the KSC-defense and scored the just 1-0 (18.). This goal was initial to the best time of the "little red devils". Instead of building the "Berlin Wall" they had fun playing towards the KSC-goal.

They must have lead with 2 or 3 goals at half-time.

Also in the second half they played well counter-attacks secured by a good defense. The point of return was the dubious yellow-red card against captain Sascha Kotysch. The FCK defense became less safe but KSC missed their best chances.

The "rock in the breakers" (german idiom)was our goali Tobias Sippel, who made the day with his great safes. FCK-coach Steven Dooley rejoiced: „Season just starts from now on."
